This past Monday, Canadian freestyle skier, Alex Bilodeau won the Gold Medal for Canada in the Men’s Moguls event at the 2010 Winter Olympics. This accomplishment was especially important to Bilodeau and all Canadians as it was the first gold medal won at an Olympics held in Canada.

The 2010 Vancouver Game’s kicked off last night at BC Place with a spectacular opening ceremony. We put on a show that already has the world talking. Sure there was a small delay when one of the four pillars of the cauldron didn’t rise, but hey, we got the job done in style!

Yesterday morning saw the torch run its last leg through Stanley Park. Final runners included Rolly Fox, Stan Smyl, Walter Gretzky, Dal Richards and none other than Governor of California, Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger himself.
Also on hand to carry the torch was the Pan Pacific’s own Natalia Mihai.
