On Saturday evening, Vancouver went dark to support Earth Hour – An annual global event hosted by the Word Wildlife Fund to encourage energy conservation.

During the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games, the staff of NBC Sports and Olympics stayed at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.
NBC was the exclusive provider of Olympic coverage to the United States and required its entire team on hand.
