The Pan Pacific Cheers Natalia’s Torch Run

Yesterday morning saw the torch run its last leg through Stanley Park. Final runners included Rolly Fox, Stan Smyl, Walter Gretzky, Dal Richards and none other than Governor of California, Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger himself.

Also on hand to carry the torch was the Pan Pacific’s own Natalia Mihai.

Natalia was one of the 2,300 Canadians chosen to run in this year’s relay and was on sight during the wee hours of the morning as she ran the torch for 300 meters through Stanley Park.

Natalia ran the relay with a huge smile on her face as her children, family and friends and the Pan Pacific cheered her on.

She confessed it was an experience she will never forget and hopes her children will remember the moment for the rest of their lives.

Natalia savoured the chance to represent her family and her country and was given the chance to meet some of the runners and special guests in attendance, including Premier Gordon Campbell.

Nice article. I myself write for games on PC and find it very fulfilling. It’s also great to let go with a tank or tactical nuke once in a while.
