Tradition Meets Modern: The First Nations Fashion Show

On Saturday, February 20th First Nations Fashion Designers wowed the world at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

Internationally acclaimed designers Dorothy Grant and Pam Baker showed their stuff on the catwalk at the Kla-how-ya Aboriginal Village at the Pan Pacific Vancouver with their wearable art.

Featuring a blend of modern technology and style with traditional value and symbols, these designers have created lines of couture, sportswear and accessories inspired by BC’s First Nations cultures.

The Kla-how-ya Aboriginal Village display is open to the public and is free of charge. The exhibit will come to an end this Sunday, so be sure to come check it out!
